Spitfire Audio and HBO have held a competition, where composers get to score a scene from HBO’s Westworld. Being an upcoming film composer, I had to jump at the opportunity and put my hat in the ring.

Judged by an elite panel comprising the show’s composer, Ramin Djawadi, as well as the creators: Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Executive Producer J.J. Abrams and the team at Spitfire Audio. Its not everyday you get to put your work in front of such big profile people which really caught my attention.

I had a lot of creating my interpretation for this competition. With the entries coming to a close today (3rd June) I am looking forward to seeing who the judges chose as the winner and the top 5 runner ups. I wish all the best to everyone who has entered.
